Here is the first part of my A-Z Web Tools. The first letter, A!!

Animasher  is a site to make animations by using pictures from the gallery or you can use your own pictures too. You can add music, some sound effects, text or record your own voice for your animation. You can get a link or publish your video on the site.

Ahead is a similar site to Prezi. It’s a way to create a presentation that transforms your layout into a zooming experience. You can add images, audios, documents, links and videos. You can also embed your presentations. The site itself is also created with Ahead. This experience is sure to be a great impression on your audience.

 AcapelaTV is a site where you can find ready flash animations to reuse by customizing them. You can use text-to-speech feature to make the characters talk. You also have different language selections. It’s an interesting and a fun site to play with,and a good practice for writing and listening.

AwesomeHighlighter is the easiest way to highlight texts on web pages. When you finish highlighting, you get a link to share it with others.

AMap is a great and a fun way to display your live debates on a very simple visual format. You can use it to review a book or a story you read.

Animoto is a great site to create video pieces from your photos, clips or music less than a minute. You just add your photos, choose music and add your text. Animoto does the rest. You can get  a link or an embed code for your website.

With Animata, you can create animations and interactive backgrounds.

About2Findout is a site where you can create a quiz, interact and challenge each other.

AnyTypos is a free,online spell checker. To check your text, just copy paste your content and you can get the results online instantly.

Alphabetizer is a site to put any list in alphabetical order. When you finish, you can print it. There are also different options that you can use such as reversing a list, removing duplicates, capitalizing first words or ignoring definite/indefinite articles. 

AlarmTube is an online alarm that wakes yourself up with the Youtube video that you choose.

My Faves of the week (Week 12)

Here are the new week’s faves:

logoKaraokeParty is a music service that let you sing karaoke and practice singing. All you need is a microphone and an internet connection.

ListenAndWriteListenAndWrite is a  site where you hear the the audio and write the words.  It’s a great site for dictation practice. You can also embed the audio to your blog or website.

 

Picture1 You type your note and get a link to send it to others with SecureTextNotes. As soon as the recipient reads the note, it destructs itself. Your note can also be password protected too. You can also attach a file to your note. As soon as the file is uploaded ,it is automatically deleted.

wondersay

 Wondersay is a site to generate animation by changing the style and customizing them. You can get a link or embed it to your website.

ConfusingWords is a site where you can find a collection of words that are often confused or misused.
